Privacy Policy

This site has an automated chat assistant that answers questions about services, pricing, hours, and how to find us. Two companies handle what you type. Anthropic processes each message to generate the reply, under its own privacy terms; we do not use Anthropic to store your conversation. Supabase, a hosting provider, stores the conversation on our behalf: every message you send, every reply, the page you were on, and the assistant's usage figures for that reply.

Before a message is sent to Anthropic or stored, we remove anything that looks like an email address or a phone number and replace it with the word redacted. That is all the redaction covers. It is not anonymization: anything else you type, such as a name, an address, or a description of a condition, stays in the text. The assistant never asks for your name, email address, or phone number, and it should not repeat one back if you type it.

We read the stored conversations for one reason: to see where the assistant gave a poor or wrong answer and to make it better. Reviewing what people actually ask also tells us what the practice should explain more clearly.

Chat logs are deleted automatically after 90 days. A nightly job removes anything older than that.

Nothing about the chat is kept in your browser. There is no cookie and no saved history. Closing the chat panel keeps the conversation on screen only until you leave or refresh the page; after that it is gone from your browser, and a new one starts fresh.

Do not type anything into the chat you would not want stored. It is a scheduling and information tool, not a private channel for medical detail. If you need to discuss something sensitive, call us or bring it to your appointment.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages people visit, how they arrived, roughly where they are, and what device they used. This is standard, aggregate usage data. It does not tell us who you are.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally either way.

If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive whatever you put in it, typically your name, your email address, and your question. We use it to answer you. That is all.

We do not sell your information. We do not share your chat conversations, your contact form messages, or your analytics data with anyone for advertising, and we do not hand them to data brokers or marketing lists.

The only parties who touch this data are the service providers who run it for us, such as Supabase for chat logs, Google for analytics, and our booking system for appointments. They act on our instructions.

Email us and we will answer questions about any of this. If you want your chat conversations deleted, ask and we will delete them. Tell us roughly when you used the chat so we can find the right records.
